1. San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Cowboy Breakfast

Get ready to rodeo at the annual Cowboy Breakfast, presented in partnership with Spurs Give. Attendees can enjoy complimentary paved parking, a wide variety of breakfast tacos, free coffee and drinks, plus live music. 2. Wish: Water Lanterns in the Garden

Set luminarias afloat in the water and make a wish for the year to come during this event at the San Antonio Botanical Garden that is inspired by the Japanese tradition of floating and hung lanterns. 3. Jeff Dunham: Artificial Intelligence

After a long pandemic pause, Dunham and his characters are finally back on the road, ready to provide a much-needed dose of absurdity given the times we live in. See him this Friday night as he brings the “Artificial Intelligence” tour to Frost Bank Center. 7 p.m. Jan. 24, 1 Frost Bank Center Drive

4. Wild West Wildlife Festival

It’s a stampede to the Briscoe with the return of the fiercely fun, family-friendly, free Wild West Wildlife Festival this Saturday. Patrons can meet live animals, enjoy crafts, stories, food presentations and so much more at this wildly popular event on the banks of the beautiful San Antonio River. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 25, Briscoe Western Art Museum, 210 W. 5. Monster Jam

The roar of monster trucks is a January tradition in San Antonio. The 2025 lineup is scheduled to include Armando Castro behind the wheel of El Toro Loco, Kevin Crocker and Megalodon, Tyler Menninga and Grave Digger, and Cynthia Gauthier driving the Lucas Stabilizer truck. Pit parties give fans a chance to see the trucks up close and meet the drivers. 7 p.m. Jan. 25, 3 p.m. Jan. 26, Alamodome, 100 Montana St.

6. Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations

The electrifying new smash-hit Broadway musical follows The Temptations’ extraordinary journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. 7. Sundays at the Square

St. Paul’s Square has partnered with Juntos San Antonio and Mobile Om Yoga to present this free family-friendly event series. Start the day with a donation-based yoga class in The Spire, then enjoy the sounds of live music as you shop the expanded outdoor market, where a variety of local vendors will be offering seasonal organic produce, handcrafted goods and more. 8. DreamWeek

Inspired by the work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., DreamWeek is a citywide calendar of events intended to foster civic and civil engagement. Highlights of the final weekend include Trinity University’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Lecture; a performance by comedian Drew Lynch; The Dream Ball showcasing San Antonio performing artists; and a concert by soul legend Lee Fields with Monophonics. Culinaria continues its Winter Restaurant Weeks, giving locals the chance to try something new or to revisit an old favorite.
